Boarding Facilities Dragonwood is dedicated to catering to each individual. The facility offers a variety of comforts for horses and horse enthusiasts. The helpful, knowledgeable staff, offers assistance to each individual if needed, as you pursue your equine goals. It's all about satisfying the need for Safety, Education, and Fun! All Season Riding Opportunities... An Indoor insulated, 96' x 168' Riding arena. Footing is a mix of sand and Equi-Tread, approximately 5 inches deep. Currently, a 70' Round Pen is centered on one end of the arena to help with those that need to revive their ground work. Three seperate observation decks on the north side of the arena allow guests to observe various activities, or to take advantage of photo opportunities. 15-stall Barn Enclosed Wash rack(hot water) and Grooming rack. Public Lounge room and large personal tack Lockers available for all boarders. 150 acres of open trails and connecting trails. Close hauling distance to various other trails(John Wayne Trail, Coal Miners Trail, Blewett Pass, Stuart Mt., Salmon La Sac and Alpine Lakes Wilderness, etc.) RATES and DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Stall Boarding: $475/month Strictly stall boarding is only allowed for those horses that have medical issues that require strict confinement. Veterinary records must accompany board agreement. Stall and Daily Turnout: $425/month Horses are rotated from stall to turnout daily at an approximate length of 12 hrs. IN and 12 hrs. OUT. The turnouts are large enough to allow your horse to romp and play, catch some warm rays from the sun, but also have shade and wind cover provided by surrounding trees. Dry Pasture Board: $300/month Because of the mountainous region that we live in, the pastures are considered 'Dry' pastures(no natural forage). However, horses are provided maximum comfort with hay 2-3 times a day(dependant upon the seasonal changes and need). EXTRAs: Supplements to your horses' feed are available. All grain and supplements are an additional fee and will be added to the current board rate as needed. Veterinarian and Farrier fees will be billed seperately as necessary.
